Local Calhoun woman pursues dream as she stars as extra in Jackie Robinson Film

Calhoun local, Amber Longairc has been cast to participate as an extra in the movie "42: The Jackie Robinson Story," starring Harrison Ford, currently being filmed in Tennessee.

Longairc, is also participating in a competition to sing the national Anthem for the cast and crew of the production. In order to do this, Longairc must have the most "likes" of her video on facebook.

To sing for the cast and crew would provide notoriety for Longairc as she hopes to start out to achieve her dream of singing the national anthem in a ball park.

According to Longairc, everyone is encouraged to visit her video of her singing the Star Spangled Banner.

"It has always been a dream of mine to sing The National Anthem at a ball game and this would be a dream come true to do it in a movie.
