Mr. Paul Campbell, of Calhoun, Ga. passed away Friday, April 20, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. J. C. Campbell, Sr. and Mrs. Josephine Campbell and two brothers, Mr. John C. Campbell and Mr. Hackey Campbell. He was a longtime employee of the Calhoun City School system for 56 years. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are his loving family, three brothers, Mr. Willie Campbell, Mr. Walter (Ione) Campbell of Calhoun, Georgia, and Mr. Matthew (Patricia) Campbell of Charlotte, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service were held Tuesday, April 24, at 4 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church on Highway 53, 1170 Rome Road, Calhoun, Ga. with Elder Emory Wright and other ministers officiating. His remains lie in state at the church on Tuesday at 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Interment: Haven of Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers monetary contributions can be made to the Paul Campbell Scholarship Fund C/O Calhoun City Schools, 380 Barrett Road, Calhoun, Georgia 30701.
