In an action to raise money for the American Cancer Society, the Starlettes Relay for Life Team has scheduled two tournaments to raise money for cancer survivors.
The first event will be a corn hole tournament Saturday, April 21, at the American Legion Post 47. Registration for the tournament will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the tournament at 2 p.m.
During the corn hole tournament, the Starlettes will be selling hamburger and hot dog plates as well as opportunities for prizes. There will be a first, second and third place prize.
Then on the following Saturday, April 28, the Starlettes are hosting a Horse Shoe tournament at the VFW. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and the tournament is to begin at noon.
There will also be prizes for the top three finishers.
All proceeds from both tournaments will go to support the American Cancer Society. Cost of admission is $10 per player.
