Heroes for the American Red Cross is a grassroots campaign that invites local business people, school and church groups, civic clubs and individuals to reach for a $1,000 fundraising goal for the Northwest Georgia Chapter of the
Red Cross. The need is unanimous: to support Red Cross disaster relief, assistance for fire victims, emergency military communications, and disaster preparedness. All money raised will stay within the Chapter to support your community.
The Heroes for American Red Cross are Brian Brannon, Clerk of Superior Court; Bruce Bowman of Fox Systems, Bud Owens of Floyd Medical Center, Carol Nance of Nance Carpets, Daniel Hebard of Gordon Hospital, David Repp of Mohawk Industries, Karla Martin of Painted Post, Kent Chapman of State Farm and Toby Holland of Executive Park Tires. You can also make donations at these local businesses: Fairmount Drugs, Fairmount IGA, Donna’s Hallmark, Owens Grocery location on Hwy 411 near Oakman, Red Door Café, Battlefield Building
Supply, Calhoun Elks Lodge, Fork in the Road Diner and the Tom B David Airport. You can also make a donation online at http://american.redcross.org/site/PageServer?pagename=heroes12_landing.

About the American Red Cross:
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation’s blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
