Laptop with patient info stolen from Redmond Road doctor’s office

A doctor’s office on Redmond Road told Rome police that a laptop that contained patient information on it was stolen in a burglary, reports stated.

According to Rome police reports:

Reports indicated the office was broken into sometime between 12:30 and 3:45 p.m. Friday. Along with the laptop, police reported that filing cabinets had been gone through and that keys were also taken.

Police believe that the suspect kicked in the front door of the office to get inside.

There were no arrests at the time of the report.
