An Ohio couple traveling through Gordon County on Interstate-75 has been arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine and other drug violations.

According to the Gordon County Sheriff's Office:

Mark A. Calcaterra,35, and Nakenya L. Calcaterra, 36, both of Dayton, Ohio, are each charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

The two were pulled over on Interstate-75 for a traffic violation.

The report states that a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed approximately half a kilogram of cocaine and over a pound of processed marijuana.

They remain at the Gordon County Jail pending bond proceedings.
