108th raises the flag

Members of the 108th Cavalry, located here in Calhoun, raise the flag for the first time at the new flagpole at Prater Ford on South Wall Street.

According to Prater Ford, the new flagpole is “honoring all who are serving in the military, and it is dedicated in memory for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.”

I hope that flag helps them to sleep at night, after theway they treated one of Calhoun's fallen soldiers widows recently.

I'm suprised that the armory and the sheriff's department would do business with you after you treated this man's family the way you did.

His widow said "she tries her best to go through life and treat people the way she would like to be treated and that's why she sleeps at night".

If you really want to honor our veterans why don't you honor this man who gave his life for us all by fixing the repaying his wife??? She was charged $1200 and the car had to be repaired by someone else. I don't think her husband would feel very honored by that do you?

Since we do not have all the facts pertaining to this situation, it is unfair to judge. Speaking from previous experiences I have always been treated fairly with respect by everyone in the service department and sales department. I have always owned a ford automobile and most of my vechicals have been reparied / serviced by Prater Ford. Each time my vechical was repaired promptly and efficiently.
