Calhoun High School Performing Arts presents Xanadu at the GEM Theatre in downtown Calhoun. Showtimes will include Friday, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2:30 p.m. For tickets, call 706-629-9213 or you can get tickets at the theatre Box Office 1 hour prior to the show. Doors will open 30 minutes before the show starts.
The Jamersons will be at Maranatha Baptist Church, 618 Hwy 225, Calhoun, Ga., at 6 p.m. on Feb. 19. This is a family group from Calhoun, Tenn., who are not only great singers but who also have a tremendous testimony. You will be blessed by their ministry.
Booneford Baptist Church Sunday night singing will be Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. “Standing Strong” will be special singers.
At age 12, Jesus told his parents, “I must be about my Father’s business.” Bryson Frix at the same age, 12, is about His Father’s business and will be preaching in the 11 a.m. service at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Resaca on Sunday, Feb. 19. The children and youth choir of Mount Zion will be singing in this service. Bryson is also planning his first missionary trip later this year. Bryson and his parents, Jim and Susan Frix, are members of Salem Baptist Church in Calhoun, and his Grandfather Loy Frix is a Pastor in Cobb County. The church is located just 2 miles east of Resaca just off the Resaca-Nicklesville Highway.
Big Springs Baptist Church, 3326 Dews Pond Rd. will be showing the new Christian film, "Courageous" Sunday night, Feb. 19, at 6:30pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Everyone is welcome!
