The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to the City of Calhoun Board of Education by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its comprehensive annual financial report.

City Schools Finance Director Don Hood was recognized by the city school board for his efforts in excellent financial reporting and in helping the school system receive the award.
