Red Bud Elementary School students participated in Career Day recently; this was an event aimed at preparing students for post-secondary success.

Throughout the morning, parents and local business representatives presented a wealth of career information to students through a variety of hands-on seminars. The result was an opportunity for students to discover the connection between the world of work and school.

Volunteers involvement has been a vital component in Red Bud Elementary’s mission to promote and inspire a career going culture. Red Bud would like to thank the following partners for their generous participation in a highly successful RBE Career Day 2011: Deanna Burch, Charity Carney, Shane Carney, Shane Cloer, Sonya Fuquea, Rosemary Greene, Stephen Hare, Candace Mealor, Daniel Morrison and Alex Swan.
