Police: Man stole chickens

A Talking Rock man was arrested this week for the alleged thefts of chickens.

According to the affidavit for arrest:

Benjamin Mitchell Hales, 19, of Talking Rock, Ga., is charged with livestock theft.

Between May and August of 2011, Hales allegedly stole nine hens and 12 roosters from two Gordon County residents. The total value of the hens and roosters is about $2,100.
