Voices for Georgia’s Children and several of its partner organizations invited Pre-K centers and supporters from around the state to celebrate the Georgia Pre-K program this fall. During Pre-K Week (Oct. 3-7), Pre-K centers welcomed elected officials and community leaders to their Pre-K to join in on the learning that happens each day thanks to the Georgia Pre-K Program.
Many elected officials have already agreed to visit their local Pre-K center during the Pre-K week to read to the students. Additionally, Pre-K centers are excited to promote their Pre-K Week festivities and visitors throughout the community, engaging local print and broadcast media. The partner organizations hope to make leaders more aware of the importance of supporting Georgia’s Pre-K Program and the 86,000 children who will benefit from it this year alone.
