• Bethel Baptist Church is having their Senior Citizens’ Day Sunday, Oct. 30. This is an old-fashioned day with Bible-spirit-filled preaching at 10:30 a.m. and old-time singing with old-time dressing. Men in bib overalss or blue jeans; women in loose-flowing dresses with bonnets or aprons. After the church service, there will be dinner on the table with lots of desserts. No 6 p.m. service this day.

• Celebrate Recovery, a Christ centered-recovery program, meets every Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the True North Missions Center, located in downtown Calhoun, across from the Harris Art Center. • Calhoun Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets Sunday at 2 p.m. at 318 N. River St., directly beside the Health Department. All meetings are open, and you do not have to be an alcoholic to attend, only have an interest in alcoholism. All meetings are confidential.

• DivorceCare recovery seminar and support group will meet at Sonoraville Baptist Church in Calhoun each Sunday at 6 p.m. Features nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Child care provided and for more information call 770-548-9310.
