• This year, the Gordon Hospital Foundation is hoping that its Fifth Annual Golf Classic scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville, Ga., can go a long way in helping local cancer patients. That’s because the tournament is being held to raise funds for the hospital’s cancer services, and in preparation for the addition of a linear accelerator, which will provide radiation treatment. The cost of entry in the tournament is $150 per player. Space is limited to 120 golfers.
