Gordon County to hold public meeting to discuss Hazard Mitigation Plan

Gordon County will hold a public meeting on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. at Georgia Northwestern Technical College conference room 103 to review and discuss a draft of an update to the Gordon County Hazard Mitigation Plan.

This plan is required by the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000. The County considers any public input into this plan a valuable contribution.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Once the plan update is completed, there will be one additional public meeting prior to consideration for adoption by the Board of Commissioners.
