A Horse Care Clinic & Tack Trade Day took place at Broken Heart Ranch & Arena in Calhoun.

Veterinarian Tom Wilson, along with Equine Dentist Stacey Pemberton, and Professional Farrier Patrick Bowen, were all on site to handle any need a horse may have had. Teeth were checked, Coggins tests taken, yearly vaccinations given, hooves examined and trimmed.

This was the perfect opportunity to get a horse serviced from “head to hoof” at one central location and at a discounted price.

Horse owners trailered their horses to the arena for services, and attendees were also able to shop at the multiple booths set up, purchasing anything from horse care products, new and used tack, to miscellaneous yard sale items.

Broken Heart Ranch is located at 151 Cooper Road in Calhoun, and will also be sponsoring a Ranch Rodeo Fun Show for all age groups on Saturday, September 24, from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., along with a Youth Ranch Night from 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
