Adults with a valid library card may access a Zoo Atlanta family pass at the Calhoun-Gordon County Library.

After a DVD is checked out at the library front desk and returned to the location of checkout, patrons receive a receipt that can be used for Zoo admission.

A pass is valid for a family of four, and is good for seven days from the date the receipt is received.

Patrons of the Calhoun-Gordon County Library encourage families to take Flat Stanley with them to the zoo and take pictures to submit to the library. For more information on how to get a Flat Stanley, ask the library staff.

“It was great,” said Brandy Riekert, who took her daughters Ava and Lizzie to the zoo through the promotion.

“It was the first time they had been to the zoo,” she said. “The girls had a great time.”

“All the animals were really interesting and the girls learned a lot,” Riekert said.

For more information about the family pass, contact the Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library at 706-624-1456.
