Yellow Jacket Drive in Calhoun has been blocked off for public access, but will be used strictly by Calhoun City Schools students and staff.

City Schools Superintendent Michele Taylor said it is now a part of the high/ middle school campus instead of a city street.

“This will help make the campus safer. We have no intention of closing the street. There may be times that the road will be blocked for student activities during the school day or during other events if needed,” Taylor said.
