The Calhoun Recreation Department had three teams advance to the GRPA State tournaments which began on Wednesday, July 6.

In the Flea Division 7-8 Girls the Calhoun All-Stars played two games, defeating Jones County 30–0 and defeated Effingham County 21–18.

In the Girls Mite Division with Machine (9-10) the girls lost to Lee County, defeated Murray County 11–9, then lost to Douglas-Coffee County.

The Calhoun All-Stars Midget Boys (11-12) were defeated by Effingham County in their first game and then lost their second game.
