ATLANTA (AP)-- State legislators are holding two more public meetings on redistricting.

Hearings are scheduled for Monday in Macon and Tuesday in Stockbridge.

The House and Senate Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Committee is holding hearings around the state to gather public comment.

Monday's hearing will take place at the Mercer University School of Medicine Auditorium. The Tuesday hearing in Stockbridge will be at the Merle Manders Conference Center.

Both hearings are scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m.

Georgia lawmakers are scheduled to return to the Georgia Capitol in August for a special session to redraw congressional and legislative district lines to conform to new U.S. Census data.

Georgia's population growth means it's gaining a congressional seat.
