Rome police have identified two men who were persons of interest in a string of larcenies.

According to Rome police detective Michelle Sims:

Six cars were broken into between 11 p.m. and midnight on May 18 near Floyd Medical Center.

"At this time they are not charged with anything. These are people I am speaking with in reference to the case," Sims said.

Sims believes the men may just be witnesses and might not be charged in this case. Their names have not been released.

Surveillance photos were taken as the two men allegedly used a credit card taken in the thefts.
