Twenty Gordon Hospital employees recently expanded their education by earning degrees in their area of expertise.
Pete Weber, president and CEO of Gordon Hospital, congratulated the employees on their accomplishments.
“On behalf of Gordon Hospital, I am pleased to offer my congratulations to these employees for achieving this milestone in their lives,” Weber says. “We understand and appreciate all the hard work and dedication that went into achieving these academic goals.”
Gordon Hospital employees who recently earned degrees include:
Licensed Practical Nursing degrees: Tracy Caylor, Katie Redd, and Tara Wilson, all of Urgent Care Calhoun;
Associate of Science in Nursing degrees: Jacqueline Barrios, Amy Garner, Heather Guthrie, and Sara Nicholas, all of the medical/surgical unit; and Jessica Mock of obstetrics;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees: Jason Smith of the emergency department; Tara James, Stephanie Miller, and Cayla Pulliam, all of the intensive care unit; Amber Bell, Ashley Green, Mandrea Kearney, and Karen Steely, all of the medical/surgical department; Tabitha Reece of obstetrics; Eunice Kim and Brandy Kirstein, both of the progressive care unit; and Jamie Parker of wound care.
The employees were recognized for their accomplishments during a special celebration held during National Nurses Week.
