* Trinity Baptist Church will host its annual Public Servant Appreciation Service and luncheon Sunday, May 29, at 10:45 a.m. The church is located on Highway 53 just west of Calhoun. New York Times bestselling author and speaker Don Piper will address the congregation. He is the author of “90 Minutes in Heaven.” The service will also feature a time of special music and prayer and recognition for all public servants. Lunch for all guests will follow morning worship.

* New Zion Baptist Church will have a fifth Sunday morning singing May 29 at 10:30 a.m. The Cool Sprngs Quartet from Chatsworth will be the special guest musical group.
