Students who are currently attending Calhoun City Schools Pre-School Program will be screened at CPK by their teachers, and parents will receive registration packets from the pre-school in early May.
All other prospective kindergarten students will need to be taken to Calhoun Primary School, 102 Raymond King Drive, for educational screening on Tuesday, April 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or Wednesday, April 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parents/guardians will register their children at that time. Parents must provide the school with the child’s birth certificate, Social Security Card, Immunization Form 3231, Proof of Residence, Dental/Hearing/Vision Form 3300 (if available) and custody papers (if applicable). The child must turn five years of age on or before September 1, 2006 to attend Kindergarten.
This includes those who do not attend pre-school as well as those attending First Baptist, First Methodist, North West Georgia Christian Academy, Brighter Tomorrows, and Tallatoona Head Start Pre-School programs.

Gordon County Schools kindergarten registration
Gordon County Schools kindergarten registration for Fall 2011-2012 will be May 2-6 Contact the school for hours of registration. Children must be five years old on or before Sept. 1. Children entering school for the first time must provide the school with the following infor-mation: Valid proof of address - copy of power, water, or gas bill; Copy of certified Birth Certificate; Immunization record on Georgia form 3231; Certificate of hearing, vision, dental screening on Georgia form 3300; Social Security card for child; Please bring your child to registration for a brief screening test.
