Francisco “Paco” Vasquez.
The church is located at 875 Hwy 53 West in Calhoun.
"Paco," as he was called by his friends and classmates disappeared while swimming with some friends in the Oostanaula River in Calhoun last April. His body was recovered a few days later from the river by recovery divers.
Vasquez was a soccer player at Calhoun High School. Several hundred students turned out for a prayer vigil last year while rescuers were still searching for him.
