A Calhoun has been arrested by the U.S. Marshall Service in connection with alleged aggravated battery against a 3-year-old female child and violation of parole.

Leon D. Curtis, 30, was arrested in Cherokee, Al. early Thursday morning by U.S. Marshalls, and Gordon County is currently in extradition proceedings to bring him back to Gordon County. According to Chief Deputy Robert Paris, Curtis will be brought back to Gordon County and charged if he does not fight the extradition order.

Curtis' last know address is believed to be 400 Greeson Loop Road.

Why don't we as a society see that the only way to deal with animals like this is a firing squad? A child is greviously hurt by this scum and now he we will all pay to feed him while he's in prison. Let's just call a mad dog a mad dog and put him out of our misery. The mother too, while we're at it.
