Former Atlanta Braves Manager Bobby Cox judged drawings used on Literacy Council’s Stay-in-School T-Shirts distributed to all city and county fifth-grade students in late March.

Cox is pictured with Ben King, center, who represented the fifth grade, and Wayne Minshew, executive director of The Calhoun-Gordon Council for a Literate Community.

Cox penned a message for the shirts: “Be Cool, Stay in School” with his signature.

The accompanying photo shows Literacy Council board member Wayne Minshew with the actual shirts, which also include a “Class of 2018” line.
