SOCCER: Ashworth wins big against Adairsville

The Ashworth Middle School boys' soccer team celebrated a big win last night against the Adairsville Tigers.

The Tigers began the game by scoring a quick goal to go up 1-0, but the Warriors came back with six unanswered goals.

Victor Perez led AMS with a hat trick (three goals), Pedro Aranda blasted in two, and Kevin Valencia added one to round out the scoring.

The win puts Ashworth’s record at 3-2.

The Warriors travel to Sonoraville Middle School this Friday to battle the Phoenix
