The Sonoraville Middle School JV squad lost a heartbreaker to Adairsville on Saturday, falling 5-4 in extra innings.
Grant Clark reached base four times to lead the offense. Ryan Gross, Jake Vess and Kenny Cooper each added a single.
On the mound, Easton Gallman, Gross, and Vess combined to strike out 11 Tiger batters.
The JV squad will visit Dalton on Monday.
