Salacoa Creek Park opens for the season

Salacoa Creak Park has opened for the season.

According to the Gordon County Parks and Recreation Department, the park is now open for camping, fishing and boat rentals.

Season dates include the first weekend in March until the first weekend in November.

The park will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily.

Daily fishing fees are $3 for adults, $2 for students, and children five and under are free.
