No injuries, one arrest following tractor trailer wreck

There were no injuries and one man was arrested following a wreck last night.

According to reports from the Georgia State Patrol and the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office:

A trooper was dispatched at 8:31 p.m. last night to a two-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck and a tractor trailer with no injuries. The wreck happened on Hwy. 53 at Plainville Road.

A red Ford Ranger, driven by Garrison Banks Pasley, age 18, of Shannon, collided with the tractor trailer.

The trooper charged Pasley with following too closely, DUI, open container violation and a seat belt violation. He was arrested and released after posting a cash bond of $1,175.
