BGMSAA Tourney: CMS boys advance to final

The Calhoun Middle School Varsity Jacket basketball team advance to the B.G.M.S.A.A. finals with a 38-20 win over Cass Middle School on Wednesday. The win improves the Jackets record to 15-1.

Jacob Parker led Calhoun with 12 points, while adding five rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Drew McCraken followed with seven points. Kaelan Riley netted six points and pulled down seven rebounds. He also had two assists and three steals.

Matt McHan scored six points and pulled down four rebounds. John Alan Kendrick scored four points and Ray Reeves added three.

The Jackets will play Cartersville at Woodland Middle School in Euharlee on Saturday in the B.G.M.S.A.A. finals. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
