The facility will also serve as the company’s corporate headquarters. This project will create 20 new jobs.

The MFG Chemical Dalton facility brings the company’s total number of production plants to three, and will also serve as its technical and product development center.
“This expansion represents a tremendous opportunity for MFG Chemical to better meet the needs of our existing customers and expand our business well into the future,” said Chuck Gavin, president of MFG Chemical. “It also strengthens our position as a supplier to the specialty chemical markets.”
The company’s new plant is located at 1804 Kimberly Park Drive in Dalton, and is situated on a site that provides room for expansion.

Gretchen Corbin, Georgia Department of Economic Development Deputy Commissioner of Global Commerce, assisted the company with this project, in collaboration with the Dalton-Whitfield County Joint Development Authority, Dalton Utilities and Electric Cities of Georgia.
