Fairmount man charged with felony threats, burglary, damage

A Fairmount man was booked and released from the Floyd County Jail on Monday following his arrest on seven warrants associated with a domestic incident on Dec. 7 of last year, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and jail records:

Bobby Delaine Powell, 27, of 300 Salacoa Road, was charged with three felony counts of terroristic threats and acts, one count each of felony burglary and felony criminal damage to property and two misdemeanor counts of simple battery.

Warrants accuse Powell of entering a Sycamore Road residence in Rome in December without permission, threatening the lives of three different family members, striking and injuring two people and knocking over a motorcycle and causing more than $500 worth of damage in the process.
