Each year, thousands flock to cities across the country to audition for the television show, which has turned unknown aspiring singers into overnight superstars.
This past July, Suddeth, an sophomore at LFO, was among the thousands who attended the show’s open call in Nashville.
“American Idol,” now in it’s tenth season, enforces strict confidentiality agreements with all of its participants. Contestants who receive a golden ticket and make it to the Hollywood Round are restricted from discussing the show publicly from that point on.
“American Idol” airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
