GNTC College Day is an event that provides high school students with general information about the college and activities to heighten the students’ awareness of the opportunities that GNTC has to offer. Local high school juniors and seniors will be able to tour the college and visit programs of study that interest them.
Those schools that were invited to attend include: Floyd County and Rome City Schools, Floyd County College and Career Academy, Gordon County and Calhoun City Schools, Phoenix Learning Center, Polk County Schools and Whitfield County Career Academy.
The Walker County Campus held College Day on Oct. 19, 2010 and had approximately 650 local high school students attend.
