Regional Commission envisions 2011

The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission will be focusing on the future during its January meeting in Calhoun on Thursday.

During the meeting, which will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Calhoun Convention Center, 100 Peters St., department heads will present the work elements their staff will be addressing in 2011.

Also during the meeting, which is is open to the public, Executive Director William Steiner will present his perspective of the year ahead for the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission.

The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission represents Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Fannin, Floyd, Gilmer, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Pickens, Polk, Walker and Whitfield counties.
