Local business owners and leaders will be among the featured speakers at the annual event.
Debra Guinter, the 2010 chairwoman of the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce, will open by delivering a speech, which will be followed by installation of the 2011 officers.
Guinter served as chairwoman of the chamber for the past year. She is the vice president and secretary of DRO Management Co., a family real estate development company.
Dewayne Bowen, a financial adviser with Edward Jones in Calhoun, will be installed as the new chairman, and David Scoggins, a partner at Winter & Scoggins CPAs in Calhoun, will be installed as vice-chairman. Kenny Fuquea will be sworn in as secretary/ treasurer.
Other highlights will include guest speaker Ruben Boling and the launching of a new Chamber website at the banquet, according to Joni Harbin, director of communications at the Chamber.
The event will include a sit-down style dinner, which will be catered by Elegant Catering, and the cost is $50 per person. The event starts at 7 p.m. at the Sonoraville Recreation Center.
