Lewis, an Atlanta native who founded trucking company All American Xpress after leaving the NFL this year, is handing Christmas trees out to low-income residents Friday morning. The housing authority serves more than 50,000 people and is the largest public housing organization in the state.
Atlanta-based TLP Transport is helping with the tree project.
Lewis' 200-truck company is based in Calhoun, Ga., with a second terminal in Lakeland, Fla. The former University of Tennessee running back played for the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.
