Basketball: CMS boys sweep Woodland Thursday

The CMS J.V. Jackets improve to 4-0 with a 40-27 win over Woodland Thursday. Jack DeFoor led the Jackets with nine points and 10 rebounds. Baylon Spector followed with nine points. Ethan Woodard scored seven points and pulled down eight rebounds. Chapin Rierson scored eight points and had five steals. Ryan Randall scored four points. Zack McKenzie scored two and Rhett Abernathy scored one point.

The CMS Varsity Jackets improve to 4-0 with a 45-24 win over Woodland. Jacob Parker led the Jackets with 18 points and seven rebounds. Drew McCracken followed with 10 points and three rebounds. Matt McHan scored eight points and pulled down four rebounds. Kaelan Riley netted five points and had four assists and three steals. Ray Reeves and Spencer Cross both scored two points.

The Jackets play Sonoraville at home on Monday starting at 4:30 p.m.
