This special award was created by members of the hospital’s Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to a deserving employee selected by the hospital’s directors.
“Both of these ladies are highly deserving of this award,” said Tracy Farriba, director of Gordon Home Care. “Judi is committed to her team members and works very hard to help the team achieve its goals. Nancy is dedicated and has a passion for the Home Care profession. They both go above and beyond for our patients and our Home Care team.”
Binnicker, who serves as office manager for Gordon Home Care, has been employed by Gordon Hospital for 6 1/2 years. She attended Middle Georgia College and has 21 years of experience in the home health industry.
“It is easy to achieve goals and be successful when you have a great team and leader like I have at Gordon Home Care,” Binnicker said.
She and her husband, James, reside in Calhoun. They have three daughters, a son-in-law, three grandchildren – Mackenzie, Zeek, and Charlee – and a Dachshund named Buddy. Her hobbies and interests include her church, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling.
Sharp RN, serves as clinical coordinator for Gordon Home Care and has been employed by Gordon Hospital for six years. She is a graduate of Dalton State College.
“I am very honored to have this recognition from my director,” Sharp said. “I really love my job and have the pleasure of working with a great team.”
She and her husband, Walter, have three boys and an “absolutely precious new grandson named Corin.” Her hobbies include music, reading, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with Corin.
