Photo 1: Sonoraville Middle School held the first of its many “Student of the Month” celebrations for students who display good character. Student Jasmine Daniel (back, center) is surrounded by her family members. There were a total of 20 students who were selected by their teachers during the month of October. They were honored with a breakfast.

Students are nominated by a teacher or staff member for demonstrating excellence in the school setting. These educators were nominated by their peers for this distinction, and awarded a free meal courtesy of Longhorn Steakhouse.
