Stephanie Rene’ Goodrum and William “Rolland” Evans were married at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at their property in Adairsville.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dereck Brown of Adairsville and Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Goodrum of Lafayette.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Evans of Adairsville.
Mr. Keith Silvers, brother-in-law of the groom, performed the double-ring ceremony before an archway of sunflowers and fall foliage.
Rust and yellow bows adorned the rows of seating.
A program of wedding music included “Canon in D,” and “Wedding March”.
Samantha Jackson of Smyrna, Tenn. was maid of honor and Danielle Griggs of Adairsville, niece of the bride, was the bridesmaid.
Dakota Jackson of Smyrna, Tenn. served as the flower girl.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, chose a white, satin A-line dress with side-draped bodice, off the shoulder neckline, and lace up back with a chapel train.
Her shoulder- length veil with tiara was bordered with white satin. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers, mums, babies breath and fall foliage.
The best man was Lanny Allen of Adairsville. The groomsman was Blake Parton, nephew of the bride, of Adairsville.
The ring bearer was Chandler Evans, son of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the property.
Refreshments included the bride’s three-tier cake with white butter cream icing. Fall leaves and sunflowers adorned the cake.
The groom’s cake was decorated with a bride getting the groom, dressed in overalls off the tractor.
The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the T.J.’s Buffet in Adairsville.
The couple will reside in Adairsville.
