On Monday, Sept. 20, five local teens presented information about topics of concern to them and other Gordon County teens. Topics ranged from bullying and harassment to cultural diversity to parent involvement and support of teens and dropping out of school. Teens making presentations were, from left: Michael Tomasello, Wesley Grizzle, Taylor Barton, Nicholas Boone, and Tyson Davis. The Teen/Family Rally event was a community information event of the Gordon County Family Connection and was held at the cafeteria of Calhoun Middle School. The event was made possible by a grant from the WalMart Foundation and Georgia Family Connection Partnership.
