She was the daughter of the late Grover and Jessie Lee Duncan Stanley. Ola Mae was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and loved to cook for her family and had a great love for animals.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Roscoe Brooks of Rocky Face; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Don Mincey of Calhoun; sisters and brother-in-law, Bobbie Brookshire of Dalton and Gail and C.L. Green of Murray County; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jr. and Gail Stanley of Dalton and Mike and Ruby Stanley of Calhoun; grandchildren, Brandi (Josh) Homs, Brittany Mincey and Derrick (Chantal) Mincey; great-grandchildren, Jacob Homs, Kendall Homs, Carter Homs, Drew Mincey, Trinity Mincey, Dalayna Mincey, Dalylah Mincey, Kylah Tuttle and Stephanie Tuttle; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 17 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Goss and the Rev. Mike Thomas officiating.
Burial was in Dunagan Cemetery.
The family received friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 4-8 p.m.
