Survivors include her husband, David C. Butler of the residence; two sons, Michael Butler and his wife Kari of Cartersville, and Nathan Butler of Santa Rosa, N.M.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Russell Stripling of Claremore, Okla., and Nikki and Waylon McCray of Apache, Okla.; a daughter-in-law, Robin Lunsford; Marcus Hicks, who was like a son; and grandchildren, Rian, Keegan, Micah, Austin, Caylin, Bailey, Michael, Casey, Hannah Lunsford, Maverick Lunsford, and Zachary.
Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Melitta Butler were held Friday, Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating.
The family received friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday from 1 p.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.
