Margaret was born on September 9, 1943 in Pascagoula, Miss. She was the daughter of the late Coy Ray Jordan and Ora Shows Jordan. Margaret was of the Baptist faith and has been a resident of Gordon County for nine years. She was very artistic, enjoyed painting, ceramics, crafts and floral arrangements and gardening. She also loved to travel and spend time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: one brother, Clifford Jordan; and one sister, Viola Dier Stubbs.
Survivors include: her husband, Don Kilcrease, Sr. of Calhoun; son, Donald Kilcrease, Jr. and his wife Ashley of Rome; three daughters, Beverly Mims and her husband Bill, Rhonda Kilcrease and Tracey Kilcrease all of Augusta, Ga.; one brother, Fred Jordan and his wife Carolyn of Baton Rouge, La.; one sister, Evelyn J. Hinson of Byron, Miss.; ten grandchildren also survive.
Graveside Services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 6 at 3:00pm from Westover Cemetery in Augusta, Ga. with the Reverend Bret Legg officiating. The family received friends on Tuesday, March 5 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
