Mr. Turner was born in Cartersville, Ga. on June 5, 1943, son of the late J.D. Turner and Ruby Lee Butler Turner. He was the owner and operator of James Turner Dry-cleaning. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Roland; 2 brothers, Thomas Randall Turner and Cecil Ray Turner.
James leaves behind his wife Glenda Turner of Chatsworth, GA.; one son, Danny Turner of Cartersville; two grandsons, Alex Turner of Cartersville and Justin Turner of Kennesaw; one great-granddaughter, Bella Grace and one brother, Brady Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bert Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens in Chatsworth, Ga.
The family received friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will include Andrew Parmenter, Jonathan Martin, Justin Turner, Alex Turner, Neal Howell and Joseph Nelson.
