Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Peebles and her husband Jerry of Calhoun; two sons, Jimmy Johns, Jr. and his wife Darlene of Ranger, and Roger Johns and his wife Diann of Plainville; a sister, Lillie Mae Timms of Resaca; and three brothers, Leonard Freeman and Herman Freeman, both of Adairsville, and C.J. Freeman of Calhoun. Grandchildren surviving are Misty and Dawn Garland, Jason Johns, Jennifer Johns Griffin, April Hudson and Matthew Johns; and great-grandchildren, Grace Johns, Sawyer Griffin, Hope Edwards, Taylor Hudson, Greyson Hudson, Ryan Johns, Kyle Johns and Cadence Johns. Nieces, Nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Freeman Johns were held Saturday, April 28th at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Timms and Rev. Jimmie Timms officiating. Music was arranged by Jennifer Johns Griffin. Interment followed in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers served included grandsons; Jason Johns, Matthew Johns, Jason Hudson, Brandon Griffin, nephews;
