Mr. Walraven was a veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 until 1958. He was of the Baptist faith, and a minister of Gordon Health Care Center, participating in services with Bro. Lamar Hand.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Billie Ann Wilson Walraven; three sons, Randy Walraven of Ranger, Danny Walraven of Resaca, and Tim Walraven of Resaca; three daughters, Teresa Adcock of Calhoun, Cynthia Dixon of Resaca, and Tina Green of Resaca; two sisters, Goldie Bennett and Jan Gee, both of Calhoun; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and an aunt, Minnie Floyd of Cochran, Ga.
Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Walraven were held Tuesday, December 4 at 3 p.m. from the White Graves Baptist Church, with Bro. Lamar Hand and Bro. Isaac Johns officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with military honors. Music was arranged by David and Tammy Glass. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
The Walraven family received friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 5-9 p.m.
